Chief Operating Officer

Reports to: Executive Director

Position Purpose

The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for the overall operational coordination of ETHSUN and ensures the smooth functioning of administrative, logistical, financial, and organisational activities across all programmes and delivery hubs. The COO serves as the operational backbone of the institution and ensures the effective execution of strategic priorities, programme delivery, international immersions, participant management, and institutional operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Coordination
  • Coordinate all operational activities of the institution
  • Ensure smooth execution of executive programmes and AI implementation sprints
  • Supervise internal operational processes and administrative workflows
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and internal policies
Administrative Management
  • Oversee administrative operations and institutional documentation
  • Supervise participant registration and onboarding processes
  • Ensure proper management of contracts, records, and institutional files
  • Coordinate relations with external service providers and partners
Financial Coordination
  • Monitor operational budgets and expenditures
  • Coordinate invoicing and payment tracking processes
  • Support financial reporting and operational cost management
  • Ensure proper administrative financial compliance
Logistics & International Programme Delivery
  • Coordinate international immersions and executive residencies
  • Supervise accommodation, transportation, and event logistics
  • Coordinate venue management and programme scheduling
  • Ensure operational readiness for programme delivery across locations
Strategic Operations Management
  • Support institutional expansion and operational scalability
  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures
  • Ensure operational efficiency and quality standards
  • Coordinate internal teams and operational reporting

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Management, or related field
  • Executive education or international programme management experience preferred

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in operations management, executive education, project management, or international programme coordination
  • Experience in international organisations, executive training institutions, higher education, or consulting environments is highly desirable

Position Purpose

The Academic Coordinator & Regulatory Affairs Manager is responsible for the academic quality assurance, faculty coordination, programme compliance, and institutional accreditation strategy of ETHSUN. The position ensures academic excellence, regulatory compliance, and the development of institutional legitimacy within the executive education ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Coordination
  • Coordinate all academic programmes and executive learning activities
  • Ensure programme quality and pedagogical consistency
  • Supervise programme implementation and participant academic follow-up
  • Coordinate schedules, assessments, and certification processes
Faculty Recruitment & Management
  • Identify and recruit qualified trainers, consultants, and executive faculty
  • Develop and maintain a faculty database
  • Coordinate trainer onboarding and performance monitoring
  • Ensure academic quality standards across programmes
Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Develop internal academic quality frameworks
  • Ensure programme conformity with executive education standards
  • Monitor participant satisfaction and programme effectiveness
  • Coordinate continuous improvement processes
Accreditation, Licensing & Regulatory Affairs
  • Lead institutional accreditation and recognition initiatives
  • Coordinate applications for licences, authorisations, certifications, and institutional approvals
  • Monitor regulatory developments affecting executive education
  • Liaise with accreditation bodies and regulatory authorities
Academic Development & Innovation
  • Support programme design and curriculum development
  • Integrate emerging trends including artificial intelligence and executive transformation
  • Contribute to institutional thought leadership initiatives

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Education, Higher Education Management, Quality Assurance, Management, or related field

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in academic coordination, executive education, accreditation management, training institution management, or educational quality assurance
  • Experience with UK education frameworks, accreditation systems, or international executive education is highly desirable

The role focuses on participant acquisition, institutional partnerships, corporate sales, and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Market Expansion
  • Identify growth opportunities and strategic markets
  • Develop partnerships with corporations, governments, and institutions
  • Expand ETHSUN's presence across target regions
  • Develop institutional relationship networks
Executive Programme Sales
  • Promote executive programmes and AI implementation sprints
  • Develop participant recruitment strategies
  • Coordinate lead generation and conversion activities
  • Support enrolment growth objectives
Corporate Partnerships
  • Develop B2B relationships and corporate training opportunities
  • Negotiate institutional partnerships and sponsorship agreements

Marketing & Strategic Visibility

CRM & Pipeline Management
  • Maintain sales pipelines and partnership databases
  • Monitor conversion rates and commercial performance indicators

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Development, Marketing, International Business, Management, or related field

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years in business development, executive education sales, consulting, B2B sales, or institutional partnerships
  • Experience in executive education, training institutions, consulting firms, or international organisations is highly desirable
